Picture of Linda MedinaLinda Medina-Lopez was born and raised in the west Texas town of El Paso. She received her Bachelor’s in Bilingual Education from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2001 and Master’s in Education with Honors from Concordia University Austin in 2005. She is the Assistant Vice President of Recruitment & Business Development for MassMutual Southwest. As the AVP, she is responsible for growing the Austin/Central Texas offices by recruiting representatives that are passionate about helping people find financial freedom. 

Linda serves as the Chair of the Concordia University of Texas Alumni Association, Chair Elect of the Hispanic Austin Leadership Alumni Association and on the SXSWedu Advisory Board. She has served on the Boards of Leadership Austin, Chair of “See Jane Give” (a program of I Live Here I Give Here), the City of Austin Commission for Women, UTEP Alumni Austin Chapter, Co-Founder of El Paso Social Network in Austin. She is a proud graduate of Leadership Austin Essential 2009, Hispanic Austin Leadership 2008, Leadership Austin Emerge 2007 and Austin ISD Leadership 2007. In 2015 she created the She’s on a Mission platform to inspire women across the USA through personal stories of triumph.

An entrepreneur at heart she also launched her business, Blossom Belle Weddings LLC specializing in wedding day of coordination.
